YMHFA Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an internationally recognised training course, designed to teach people how to spot the signs and symptoms of mental ill health and provide help on a first aid basis. The training provides a more in depth understanding of specific mental health issues faced by young people today, and is delivered in four manageable sections.

Who can attend?
This course is open to Royal Borough of a Greenwich  front line staff. This includes:-Volunteers, 16+ young people, Youth Peer Mentors, School Receptionists; Pastoral Carers, Classroom or Teaching Assistants; Saturday and Sunday school teachers, and small community groups/projects in contact with young people.
This is an opportunity to grow and share knowledge about mental health.

Duration: Two Days (Participants must attend both days)
Dates: 2nd and 9th October
Accreditating Institution: MHFA England
Venue: Charlton Athletic Football Club, The Valley, Floyd Road, Se7 8BL
Special Introductory Cost: £30
Assessment Method: No assessment - informal lectures and interactive sessions.
