Legends United in aid of Charlton Athletic Community Trust
Sunday 17th September, KO 1pm, The Valley
Charlton Legend Keith Peacock and Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) Ambassador Dave Berry will be managing two teams of Charlton legends. They are reuniting for a unique game to celebrate 25 years since the Addicks’ return to The Valley and the foundation of the community scheme, which grew into CACT.
The teams will be captained by the former joint managers from 1992, Alan Curbishley and Steve Gritt – watch our interview with them here.
Players announced so far:
The 25th Anniversary Committee is organising the game as part of a series of events. The first event was Keith Peacock’s golf day in May, which raised £7,500 for CACT, and Legends United will be followed by further events later in the year.
All the Committee’s events are raising funds to support CACT’s work at the heart of the community improving health, improving education and employment and reducing crime.
