Successful Partnership Continues

The excellent and longstanding relationship enjoyed by WJ King - one of the fastest growing vehicle dealer groups in the South East and Kent - with the Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT), was further highlighted recently when CACT's respected head of disability and mental health, Carl Krauhaus, visited WJ King's Sidcup branch to take ownership of his brand new KIA Sportage.

Carl's new Sportage is a result of the sponsorship agreement that sees WJ King continue their relationship as Motability Partners of CACT's renowned Disability and Mental Health programme, which includes the award-winning 'Charlton Upbeats', Down's syndrome programme.

The Motability Scheme enables disabled people to use their government-funded mobility allowance to lease a new car, scooter or powered wheelchair. In fact, since the scheme was set up in 1978, Motability has helped over 3 million people get mobile with a new vehicle.

Speaking about his and CACT's relationship with WJ King, Carl (pictured here with WJ King's Stuart Atkinson) said, ''The continued support from Motobility partners WJ King is very much appreciated by Charlton Athletic Community Trust. As head of the disability and mental health strand I value their generous backing which is an important factor in enabling us to continue our important work with young people and adults with disabilities and those in recovery from mental health issues''.

Carl continued by adding, ''What is also very pleasing is that we are aware of partners and supporters of CACT who have benefited from some great deals from WJ King as a result of our partnership. Only a few weeks ago a staff member at CACT acquired a KIA Sportage from WJ King. She was offered an amazing deal and is extremely happy with the service she received. WJ King provide my department with a KIA Sportage on an annual basis to help us to deliver our important initiatives. The Sportage is a lovely car supplied by a great partner who I can't thank or praise enough".

Commenting on the relationship with CACT, Jeff Conway, WJ King's group sales manager said, ''We're very pleased to continue our excellent relationship with Carl and his colleagues in the Disability and Mental Health department as we are extremely proud of our partnership with such a respected organisation as the Charlton Athletic Community Trust. I'm also delighted that Carl is so pleased with his KIA Sportage.''

WJ King's link with CACT will once again be promoted at The Valley on the big screen on Charlton Athletic match days throughout the forthcoming season.
