15-year-old Chloe started attending CACT’s Short Breaks programme in 2018. Short Breaks is a programme delivered by CACT in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and London Borough of Bexley for young people with disabilities.
Chloe, who has ASD, attends a number of different activities with CACT, and in particular enjoyed a summer trip to Greenwich Park, where she played in the sandpit. She engages well with CACT staff.
Steve Bannan, CACT’s Disability and Mental Health Officer, said:
“Chloe is a pleasant young lady who likes to be outdoor, always a pleasure to have on the programme and a big smile."
Chloe’s mother said:
“Chloe really enjoys her time spent with CACT. She looks forward to joining in the different activities. I am happy that she is supported by staff who know her and help support her independence.”
