CACT’s newly created Early Help and Prevention Department incorporates multiple stands of work. These include the trust’s traditional disability work featuring the much-loved Charlton Upbeats project.
Also under the department is CACT’s award winning Mental Health initiatives working alongside partners such as Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust and Kent and Medway NHS Trust. Various other disability projects such as a Short breaks provisions delivered on behalf of the Royal Borough of Greenwich and the London Borough of Bexley also come under the department.
Other programmes included under the strand are Kickz sessions across Greenwich and Bexley, a mentoring scheme stretching over the London Borough of Bexley and the county of Kent and a comprehensive crime reduction programme.
The Early Help and Prevention strand has a wealth of experience with long serving full time CACT staff delivering the vast majority of the strand's initiatives.
