CACT raises over £14,000 at Charlton Golf Day

Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) would like to thank all the attendees and sponsors for their support at the Charlton Athletic Golf Day.

Almost 100 fans, players and former players came together on Wednesday 28 July to enjoy a round of golf at the London Golf Club before dinner, a Q&A hosted by Scott Minto and an auction and prize presentation hosted by Adger Brown.

Attendees were delighted that Thomas Sandgaard was able to join for the evening, and take part in the Q&A as well as present the individual and team golf awards.

CACT raised £14,375 through the auction, raffle and goody bags, which will support its work with the most vulnerable in our community.

Jason Morgan, CACT’s Chief Executive, said:

“I’d like to thank everyone who came along to the golf day, especially those who contributed in the organisation or on the day, and who donated raffle and auction prizes, including The O2, FFT and the London Club, as well as those who are donating their time as part of auction prizes.

I’d also like to thank Charlton Athletic Football Club for organising such a successful event. I’m already looking forward to the 2022 Golf Day!”
