Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) has thanked Panas Gurkha Restaurant for their efforts in supporting the local community throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.
Since the start of the pandemic, Panas Gurkha have been donating free hot meals to Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Trust staff who have been working tirelessly throughout this difficult period.
Panas Gurkha’s Head Chef, Mr Ram Paudal, has been cooking the meals since last March.
Most recently, Panas Gurhka have been instrumental with the Project Hope campaign. Project Hope was launched by the Royal Borough of Greenwich and Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Trust in a bid for the local community to donate items to NHS staff.
Deb Browne, CACT’s Head of Health Improvement, said:
“I just want to say a big thank you to Panas Helping Hands for the fantastic work they are doing in the community and supporting the Community Hub and Project Hope.
“Our team are supporting both Project Hope and the Community Hub, and feel privileged to be helping our NHS frontline workers and residents in the Borough to get food and to make sure they are connected to all the things they need to be connected to.”
