New faces in Football & Sports Development team

Two new staff members have joined Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT’s) Football and Sports Development department.

Anthony Quarm is the new Football & Sports Development Assistant, while Katy Skelton has become Apprentice Sports Coach.

Anthony, who comes from Bexleyheath, joins after working as a Teaching Assistant at Rowhill School in Kent, mostly doing PE but also maths.

He will be based at CAFC’s Sparrows Lane training ground, where CACT has office space.

His responsibilities include coordinating after school clubs, coaching sessions and holiday courses, and promoting CACT’s work in the boroughs of Royal Greenwich, Bexley and Bromley.

Katy, who is from New Eltham, went to Blackfen School for Girls until this summer.

She will be working on a variety of activities across Royal Greenwich and Bexley, spending time in schools and colleges, and on CACT holiday football courses.

Katy will also be taking the Level 2 and Level 3 NNVQ Diploma in Supporting the Delivery of Physical Education and School Sport.

Sean Daly, CACT’s Head of Football and Sports Development, said:

“I’m very happy to welcome Anthony and Katy to the team.

“They will play an important part in our Football and Sports Development activities going forward, while also learning and benefiting from the personal development their roles will ensure.”
