Celebrating the youth service Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) delivers on behalf of the Royal Borough of Greenwich, Young Greenwich Day on 14 November will see young people provide analysis on Charlton Athletic’s match at a youth hub.
Charlton’s match against Rochdale will be streamed to a group of Young Greenwich and Young Reds members at Hawksmoor Youth Hub with a mixture of virtual and in-person activity with social distancing measures in place as part of a bespoke Saturday session.
Young Greenwich members will be able to watch the match together and connect with other young people through Zoom. From before kick-off to the final whistle, the young people will have the opportunity to not only interact with each other, but also make new friends and feel comfortable in their own space.
A few young people will have the opportunity to report on the match by providing pre-match, half-time and full-time analysis broadcast live through Young Greenwich’s social media channels. They will preview the match and share their thoughts on the action, with followers able to watch their analysis online through Instagram Live.
In the run-up to the day, Young Greenwich members will get up close and personal with a Charlton player through an exclusive interview on a wide range of topics.
To keep up to date and join in on 14 November, follow Young Greenwich on social media @younggreenwich on Twitter and Instagram.
