CACT Post-16 Football Programme

Charlton Athletic Community Trust's (CACT) Post-16 Football and Education Academy is aimed at boys and girls aged 16-19 who are interested in combining their education with the life of a professional footballer. Players have had the opportunity to trial with the CAFC Academy, exit routed into semi-professional and grass roots football and three players have headed to the USA for University with one of our US scholarship partners.

The 2023/24 season has seen the Post-16 Academy grow to over 130 students, across our SE London and Ashford sites. We offer football opportunities for all levels of players, from elite players looking to develop towards the higher levels of the game to players who enjoy playing in a team and with their team mates. All our coaches are adaptable, professional and high quality.
