Apprenticeships

Apprentice Callum with Andrew Sykes

The apprenticeships at Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) give young people aged 16 and over the opportunity to earn while they learn under the National Apprenticeship Wage.

CACT's Apprentices are contracted to work 37.5 hours per week for CACT, where they gain real life work experience within a thriving organisation. This allows them to develop and apply the skills they learnt in the classroom to real life situations, all with the safety net of the CACT team to help them learn.

By completing an apprenticeship, you are not only gaining a vital qualification, but boosting your overall CV with countless opportunities to extend your knowledge of the sporting world.

The programme is accredited through London South East College. Apprentices will be involved in work based learning with CACT Monday to Thursday, with Friday being a day for education; they will also be able to gain a variety of additional qualifications.

Qualifications studied:

  • Level 2 Pathway - Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
  • Level 3 Pathway - Community Sport and Health

CACT is also looking for schools who may be interested in placing an Apprentice in their school to support teaching and learning.

Any Apprenticeship vacancies will be posted on the Get Involved section of CACT's website.
