Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) traineeships run for 12 weeks and aim to change lives for the better.
There are two types of traineeships to accommodate both 16 to 18-year-olds and 19 to 24-year-olds.
All are designed for those who are not currently in education, employment or training. Based at The Valley, trainee courses provide crucial employability and work related skills, including
- 100 hours of work experience within the career area of your choice
- Support to improve your English and Mathematics skills
- A work experience preparation course
- Employability course
The programmes accommodate and support a wide variety of career choices and options, including Catering, Hospitality, Media, Health Improvement, Youth Work and Sports Coaching. Participants can gain additional accredited qualifications such as FA Level 1 and First Aid qualifications.
The course also gives trainees who enrol the opportunity to progress onto an apprenticeship, further education or employment.
All trainees are provided with CACT tracksuit bottoms, a t-shirt and a jumper.
