Get Active

Project Outcomes

• To make Golding Homes stock housing areas a better place to live

• To create a more cohesive community, offering Golding Homes residents an opportunity to feel part of their community, and utilise sport to bring the community together

• To reduce the number of disturbances and occurrences of anti- social behaviour

• To equip young people in Golding Homes areas with appropriate life skills to offer potential better life chances

There are a variety of sports providers in Kent delivering to make sure we are offering the best quality activities to young people in Maidstone.

Update (20/05/20):

Dear all,

We hope you are well during this uncertain time. We want to give you an update on the Get Active programme. Unfortunately, the 2020 summer programme is postponed until further notice. Our main priority as always is keeping all children that attend our sessions safe at all times. So we are following the Government's guidelines precisely to ensure this. We are in regular talks with Golding Vision & Kent Sport to discuss potential options of delivery of the programme if it is safe to do so in the near future.

We hope to have another update for you over the next few weeks, until then please stay safe. Thank you for your co-operation in this matter.

Kind regards

Stephen Camacho
