Women's and Girls' Football

CACT delivers one girls only session per week at the CAFC Training Ground in New Eltham.

Delivered by a CACT coach and one Charlton Athletic Women first team player, the session is delivered following CACT's Charlton Challenge curriculum which is a structured and progressive scheme aiming to develop children’s core movement and football skills. It is designed to create maximum enjoyment and involvement, while also helping young footballers to realise their full potential. All Charlton Challenge sessions are delivered over 12 to 16 weeks three times a year at your local leisure centre. If any of the young female players show signs of great technical ability, good game understanding and excellent movement skills, they may be asked to attend our girls regional talent centre delivered within the Charlton Athletic Women setup.

CACT and Charlton Athletic Women have also launched a Post-16 partnership with Bexleyheath Academy to provide female and players with an opportunity to gain a range of qualifications.
