FIT FANS is a free health programme for men and women aged 35 - 65 who are looking to lose weight, get fitter and lead a more active lifestyle. This 12-week programme commissioned by the EFL Trust, is held at The Valley, home of Charlton Athletic. You'll meet fans just like you, who want to lead a healthier lifestyle.
The FIT FANS programme was launched in January 2020 with the English Football League Trust (EFL Trust). The programme is supported by National Lottery funding from Sport England to support 10,000 fans across the UK.
The main aims of the programme are to:
- Improve your eating habits
- cut down on alcohol
- increase your activity levels
- reduce your weight and waistline
- support each other and stay on track
FIT FANS has helped 1000s of people - football fans like you - to achieve long-term health improvements in weight loss, diet and wellbeing.
The FIT FANS programme will be returning on Monday 14 September at two venues in Royal Greenwich! Hawksmoor Youth Hub in Thamesmead and the classroom at CACT's office in New Eltham.
The women's cohort will take place 12pm-2pm on Mondays at Hawksmoor and 10am-12pm on Thursdays in New Eltham.
The men's cohort will take place 12pm-2pm on Tuesdays at Hawksmoor and 1pm-3pm on Thursdays in New Eltham.
